    • Engaged as a Technical Support Engineer as part of Siebel Systems’ Global Services organization. Main responsibility is to provide expert technical advice and solutions to Siebel Certified Consultants and trained developers worldwide pertaining to their development, testing and deployment of Siebel’s market-leading eBusiness applications. Worked on Siebel 2000 and Siebel 7 (starting Oct 2001) issues, including Siebel eCommunications and Siebel eFinance.

    • A specialist in Siebel EAI project issues. Accorded status of EAI Primary for high level of competency in the Siebel EAI area within Siebel Systems.

  • Java Developer , i-Sprint Innovations

    • Completed a three-month internship programme. Deeply involved in the analysis, design, coding, testing and implementation of eTrack Project Management System. Project encompassed 1 full SDLC undertaken jointly with full-time employees of the company. Technologies employed for the project include JSP (Java Server Pages), Java Servlets, JDBC, IBM WebSphere, IBM Visual Age for Java, Apache Web Server and DB/2.

    • The Java-based 4-tier Web-based application for online project management has gone live and was awarded a Letter of Commendation from Andersen Consulting.
Financial Services Experience (Sep 1995 - Sep 1999)

  • Worked as an Investment Analyst in UOB Investment Research, Goldman Sachs and OUB Securities. Covered listed companies in Singapore and Malaysia spanning various industries including food and beverage, banking and finance, electronics, publishing, aviation, defense and conglomerates.

  • Key responsibility was to form opinions as to the investment merits of selected listed companies within coverage and make recommendations on their stocks and corresponding equity derivatives. This was achieved through in-depth financial analysis and modeling, meetings with senior management of companies and in general keeping close tabs on the developments of these companies and the trends within their respective industries. Analysis and recommendations were presented to investors in the form of pre-market opening verbal commentaries, daily write-ups, company reports and other time-sensitive investment literature.
